Last night, I talked briefly about how we limited our fries in our dinner and supplemented it with squash and zucchini.
Guess what? This morning I stumbled upon a a blog entry on Foodpolitics.com that backs me up. Looking at french fries Marion Nestle writes in his post that those who ate fries more and other potato-based diets gained more weight.
Those who ate whole grains, nuts, yogurt, fruits and vegetables were more likely to lose weight. Those are exactly the same things in my diet.
There’s a simple answer for why. These products are lower in calories and more filling.
